Helping Young Athletes

Our Mission

The Montgomery Sports Foundation is committed to removing financial barriers for young athletes in Duluth, Minnesota by offering assistance to cover youth sports registration fees.

How It Works

Phase 01

The Montgomery Sports Foundation receives charitable donations and grants from businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Phase 02

Families apply for grants by submitting an application to the Montgomery Sports Foundation, which reviews their eligibility and, if approved, covers the youth athletic registration fees on their behalf.

Phase 03

Kids get to enjoy the benefits of participating in recreational team sports, including the development of social skills, improved physical health, increased self-esteem, and the ability to work collaboratively and develop leadership skills.
